We would like to invite dynamic, focused, and enthusiastic individuals to join Jerudong Park Medical Centre’s Nursing Team for the positions mentioned below for a Walk- In Assessment and Interview.
STAFF NURSE
Experience
a. Paediatric with Nursery High Dependency Unit Experience
b. Medical or Surgical Experience
c. Specialist Outpatient Experience
d. Accident / Emergency or Acute Experience
MIDWIFE
Expefience
a. Midwifery Experience
b. Prenatal, Perinatal, and Postnatal Care Experience
Requirements of Staff Nurse and Midwife
Qualification
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and Midwifery
- Currently licensed to practise as a Registered Nurse in country of origin.
- Be registrable with the Brunei Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse
- Hold a current Practicing Certificate.
- Have not been out of nursing practice for greater than 1 year
- Have a commitment to relevant professional development and evidence based practice
- Demonstrate accountability in nursing 8. midwifery practice.
Experience
- Preferred minimum of 2 - 3 years recent experience as Staff Nurse in Hospital
- Previous overseas experience preferred
Job Description
- Demonstrate good communication skills. Interact effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Delivers safe and competent nursing care in accordance with established JPMC standards and the Nursing
Department Philosophy
- Establish priorities of care, nursing actions and desired outcomes within the acceptable time frame.
- Recognise and uphold the rights of all clients accessing health services and advocate on their behalf. This also
includes maintaining cultural sensitivity.
- Ensure proper documentation of nursing care activities and procedures
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient care, treatment, written and verbal information both written and verbal
Special Skills
- Fluent in English, Malay and Chinese
