RADIOGRAPHER - MRI Trained
Job Responsibilities:
- Produce diagnostic images using MRI. Work with or without direct supervision of Radiologist and Manager of imaging Department.
- To assist Radiographer in Imaging modalities including postoprocessing for X-ray and CT scan.
- Assists Radiographer in general radiography examinations in accordance with the policies and procedures applicable to the
radiology room.
- Performs post processing for Xsray and CT scan and MRI examination in accordance with the policies and procedures
applicable to the MRI examination room.
- Establish and optimize MRI protocols as per patient's clinical indication and radiologist requirements.
- Makes sure that appropriate MRI protocols are used during procedures.
- Verification of images done for correct patient's identification, anatomy labeling, etc., before sending for reporting.
- Checks and starts up the general X-ray machines, CT scan and MRI in the mornings.
- Liaises, checks, identifies & ushers patients into changing rooms, X-ray rooms, CT scan room and MRI room.
- Verification of patient‘s identification against Imaging request form before proceeding to Imaging examination.
- Ensure that patient's data is correctly entered to the X-ray system, CT scan and MRI.
- Cleans and maintains MRI, CT scan and X-ray machine/accessories in the various rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of all radiation protection PPEs in the department.
- Participate in monitoring of reject analysis for MRI.
- Develop checklists and provide training to Radiographers who are
rostered to MRI room.
- He / She will require to manage the Imaging Department reception counter activities that include handling enquiries, providing accurate information to service users, managing the appointment system, scheduling of patient flow, monitoring work flow and assisting in patient registration and records.
Job Requirements :
- Degree in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy/Diploma in Radiography
- Able to operate MRI machine.
- Able to perform all the routine MRI examinations.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience with MRI machine.
